Mountain Springs CC Ministries Kids Ministry Our mission is to make God KNOWN to His kids through His Word, to cultivate a culture of community in our classrooms, to equip families to train their children in their homes, and to empower kids to go out after they leave their classes to passionately share the truth of Jesus with a hurting and broken world that is in need of Him. At Mountain Springs, we are a family! Our kids are an extremely important part of that family, and it is our privilege to be able to teach and disciple them in their faith so that they have the solid foundation of God's Word and the support of their church community to accomplish anything God calls them to. With an incredible team of people who serve wholeheartedly on a weekly basis through teaching, crafts, music, and games, we endeavour to show each child who comes through our church doors the love of Jesus in a fun, age-appropriate, and compassionate way. Back Robyn Mast Children's Ministry Director robyn@mountainspringscc.com Robyn has been serving as the Children’s Ministry Director for a year and a half, and serving at Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel since it was planted nearly 15 years ago. She is passionate about kids coming to know Jesus, learning more about Him, diving into God’s Word, and learning what it means to be a church family - and for them to have ridiculous amounts of fun while doing it! She serves alongside her husband of 12 years, Reece Mast, who is one of the church elders. They love to do ministry together and with their three kids, Jude, Justus and Ivy. Outside of church ministry, she homeschools all three kids, runs a mini-zoo on their acreage, loves music and reading, and runs her photography business on the side. pastorjoel@mountainspringscc.com

She was raised in a Christian home, I came to faith much later. We have three wonderful boys, Roland, Oscar, and Ezra. I currently work in aviation alongside being Campus Director. We both have a huge passion for Jesus, and helping people to know Him deeply. We have a heart to see the body of Christ grow and flourish in Cochrane, and to be able to serve the Lord here in our home community. Back Joel Turner Lead Pastor pastorjoel@mountainspringscc.com Prior to the Lord’s calling him into the ministry, Joel was a comedian in western Canada. After coming to Christ, he entered into full-time ministry in North Carolina and later moved home to serve as youth and young adult pastor at a Calvary Chapel in Calgary. In 2007, the Lord moved on his heart to plant a church, Mountain Springs CC, in NW Calgary where he continues to pastor. In 2020 Joel released his first book entitled, “Humor Me”; as a result he now shares his insights on the topics of humour, evangelism, and public speaking. Pastor Joel will often refer to this as "the church gathered and the church scattered".
